Green Lakes State Park Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Fayetteville, New York.
Green Lakes State Park first opened for play in 1936. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones.
This scenic 18-hole course, with its plush fairways, is one of the first golf courses designed by Mr. Jones. Green Lakes State Park's landscape and rolling terrain tests all playing abilities. The course has deep faced bunkers and golfers rarely receive a flat lie. Errant tee shots may be costly. There is a panoramic view from the Robert Trent Jones clubhouse.
The park also features two glacial lakes, which are a beautiful emerald color. A trail circles both lakes, one of which is a National Natural Landmark. Visitors can also enjoy camping, swimming, fishing or rent a cabin.
